Saturday, December 25 at the Club Donky Barletta presents the second act of a memorable MetroKlang branded series of evenings, for the occasion will host the eclectic dj Venezuelan Argenis Brito. His innovative sound and emotional vibrations will alternate orchestrated by Ricky Erre Love. Once again the event will countersign MetroKlang for the fusion of quality music and involving atmosphere underground.

A true artist in the round - a professional musician, an expert singer, producer and passionate innovator - Argenis Brito was born in Caracas (Venezuela), began studying the piano and, at age 13, singing in a Venezuelan group, the Los Chamoso, very popular in Latin America and the U.S. in the early eighties. Argenis In 1985 he created his first band with Gustavo WAG Montaño: come compositore, bassista e cantante incide due album, nel 1986 e 1988, ottenendo un vasto successo in America Latina, USA e Messico a cui segue una lunga serie di concerti.

Il nome di Argenis Brito è intrinsecamente legato al genere del Latinotronics. L’inizio del nuovo millennio è l’occasione to propose a new musical style: with Mambotur, an association created by the Chilean producer Pier Bucci, stepped forward a new emotional musical, based on the winning combination of Mambo, Cumbia and Salsa with sophisticated electronic sounds enhanced by nuances Dub. Il saluto, per dare il via alla rappresentazione, di Antonio Diterlizzi , amministratore delegato, ha gettato subito luce sul futuro dell'economia, troppo spesso considerato nero, soprattutto dai giovani. Ed invece è proprio sui "giovani creativi" che bisogna puntare per lo sviluppo del territorio, sottolinea l'amministratore.

Il festival musicale, giunto quest’anno alla seconda edizione, vedrà partecipare ventiquattro gruppi di genere rock, metal, ska, punk, post-rock, dark e indie. Fomentando la creatività di artisti agli esordi, darà spazio, valore e giudizio tecnico di una giuria qualificata, a tanta musica inedita, personale, innovativa. Ogni Venerdì sera, presso il

pub Bucanieri a Barletta , il contest vedrà esibirsi due gruppi a serata, dei quali solo uno avrà accesso alle semifinali. MetroKlang The project was born from the objective to enhance the creativity of youth in the cultural field, which is considered indispensable resource and value added growth of the territory, and to facilitate the expression and dissemination of proposals and new ideas in music and art. Saturday, November 20 at the Donky MetroKlang Club kicks off the first of a series of events taking place in the territory, in dell’arte e dello spettacolo, attraverso showcase in clubs e spazi artistici tra i più rinomati. MetroKlang, che il prossimo anno diventerà etichetta discografica, intende inoltre operare nel settore delle produzioni discografiche, sostenendo la realizzazione e la distribuzione a livello nazionale e internazionale di dischi in vinile e digitale con brani di giovani musicisti pugliesi, affiancati da artisti già presenti sul mercato discografico internazionale. Il progetto nasce dalla fusione di idee di professionisti che mettono in campo l’esperienza, la professionalità, la capacità organizzativa e di promozione accumulate nel settore musica e arte negli ultimi venti anni.
