I confess to having turned his back on the band's James Murphy in the fourth song, last summer during the live in the main room of Sonar : all have seen, imagined, felt. At least for me. It is not my arrogance in speaking of what is fact to be considered as one of the most important of the decade just passed. It 'realization that perhaps only the sound, that feeling, that progressive rock becomes electronic and vice versa, with hindsight, the true hallmark of those years. It is because of years have passed from the homonymous album twice five: in the middle of concerts almost every night, all over the globe and various artists invented, with the excuse to run a record label. LCD Soundsystem now this, a macrocosm of experience, creative and artistic possibilities, always with the common denominator of sound power.



This is the "London Sessions", a new album, a déjà vu recorded live at the MILOC Studios in London (where the Chemical Borthers finalize their thoughts, so to speak). Nine songs assembled from scratch, with new arrangements and balances, except for "Your city's a sucker" - authentic Teutonic bside bomb one of their first publications.
Dopo questa prima premessa, voglio però permettermene una seconda, ovvero che non  dimentico mai di essere stato adolescente, forse perché vivendo ancora da tale immagino che codeste parole possano finire d’innanzi a un mio simile formato diciassettenne, curioso di sapere cosa succede la fuori.
Detto questo considero questo un grande album, che forse però io non comprerei mai. Non è per il contenuto al suo interno anzi, le versioni sono si suonate dal vivo, come nei più classici studio album; forse non ho la razionalità di scindere tra la bellezza oggettiva dei brani in questione e le reminiscenze soggettive che hanno plasmato non tanto la mia persona, quanto la mia personalità.

"Daf punk is playing at my house" (the unforgettable edit appeared on New Year two thousand and five in the essential mix of 2Many DJs on BBC Radio 1 ), "Us & Them" or "All my friends "are tracks that have shaped not only my pride, but of an entire generation. That is why I called this album a great album: why is the picture better, sharper and of a high-definition mature group so as to make the story of his time, not smart enough to chase himself and ready to celebrate April 2, 2011, at Madison Square Garden , The final act in a grand career, before the final dissolution. Looking back, maybe I was probably really arrogance, or that it can help but think of such a group.

We will miss you. And you still do not know them yet, do not even know how much.
